If global warming is a problem, whose responsibility is it? Do the members of the United Nations form a scientific branch? Do the scientists of the world unite? With many environmental and scientific problems plaguing the world and our country, the issue of responsibility is important, and the government is taking up the baton in a self-proclaimed attempt to protect its people or to advance its military. The question is, at what point does the government cross the line? How is the government to be involved in Science?...

Labelled as one of the enemies of the Christian, the "world" has stirred up controversy in Christian circles since the beginning. A siren-call if there ever was one, the world questions the authority structure God has established. The Devil utilized worldly temptation from creation, attempting to subvert the authority of God and instigate an alternative. Especially in light of Jesus' declaration of separation from the world (John 15:9), the Christian must question affiliation with the world on all fronts....

All media are designed to transport a message, but those that do so poorly or ineffectively ought not to be used. Television is one of the worst offenders, and ought most to be blamed for the brainwashing it gives to its viewers. It is a factory of indolence, and unlike the theatre or cinema, television is not a medium of art and is unworthy of praise....

I've been struggling with font-smoothing in Google Chrome. On larger (40px+) fonts, a noticeable jaggedness can be seen on the edges of the more curved text. Internet Explorer 9 applies the nice new shiny WPF sub-pixel font-smoothing to text and makes it look fantastic. Firefox (at least in Nightly v. 8) does a pretty good job too. You can see what I mean here. Make sure you're running Chrome 14 (others might behave similarly but I know Chrome 14 does it), IE9, and FF7-8. Or, see the picture below: ...
